So I’ve been watching a lot of anime recently. And I mean a lot! When you do that, you start to get double vision or at least your mind starts seeing characters all over the place. Here a few dead ringers or doppelgängers that some how made it into other anime series.
If you try to look up the Monogatari anime series you will see that it doesn’t follow the typical naming system of seasons 1, 2, 3 etc. Instead each season is named with the latest season being called Monogatari Series: Second Season. However confusingly Nisemonogatari is the direct sequel that follows on from Bakemonogatari and a prequel season called Nekomonogatari: Kuro that precedes it. Very Odd
It’s been a while since I’ve watched Adventure Time. I used to watch it religiously and could see where the popularity came from. The show was profound behind it’s childish exterior and the writing is incredibly sharp. Each episode wavered between one off silly stories to interesting thematic ones with the episode ‘Burning Low‘ being the most emotionally sweet piece of children’s programming I have ever seen. I burnt out of Adventure Time and Regular Show just as the popularity was booming but an Internet Star drew me back to give one more episode a watch.
With only a few days before E3 the internet hype machine is already pumping out lots of rumors and speculation. Will there be slimmer models of XBONE and PS4? Will Microsoft release it’s own portable system? Will SONY release a game that actually uses the touch pad on the PS4? Except, instead of those two we are here to focus on ol’ Grandad Nintendo and their Digital Press Event. I won’t be covering Smash predictions since I think the internet has already had it’s fair share of top 10 lists and predictions. Here are my wildest speculations on what Nintendo has in store for the next year.
It’s funny what draws me to watch an anime series over another. Sometimes it’s due to it’s overwhelming popularity and fandom a la Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Other times it’s because of
raging hormones the heroine looks super pretty; To Love Ru, Amaenaideyo and Rio Rainbow Gate. This time, Bakemonogatari attracted me because I watched this review and also because the main character Araragi Koyomi shared my teenage emo hairstyle.
Insert Coin Clothing is an UK based online clothing store specialising in video game apparel. They have been commissioned by different companies to make limited runs of clothes based on famous video game series including; Resident Evil, The Last of Us, Sega and Dead or Alive. Devil May Cry is one of my favourite video game series so when Capcom partnered with Insert Coin Clothing, I knew I had to get my hands on one of their designs.
